"Some places feel as though they’ve stepped straight from the pages of a book—too poetic, too perfectly composed to truly exist. And yet, now and then, we discover that they do.
'Golden Steps' is one of those places. Perched on the rugged edge of the world, it draws the eye outward across the water toward a setting moon, everything bathed in a soft, golden light. An ancient Monterey Cypress, gnarled by time and coastal winds, has shaped itself into a natural arch above the steps—standing watch over this quiet passage at Point Lobos for longer than memory can hold.
