"When Waves Crash' is a mixed media piece using spray paint and acrylic. It was created by layering the paint, scraping, letting it dry, then repeating the process. In the end I put one more layer of spray paint on with some splatters of acrylic paint, and left it outside in the rain overnight.
The following morning, I carefully blotted up the remaining settled water and brought it in to dry. And like all of my other artwork, it was completed with two coats of varnish.
