"As America approaches her 250th birthday, this Memorial Day Weekend offers a meaningful moment to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and vision that shaped our nation. 'Sweet Land Of Liber-tree' celebrates not only the beauty of our country, but also the enduring freedoms that generations of Americans have worked and sacrificed to preserve.
Recently, I found myself thinking about our country and the flag that unites us all. I envisioned a tree with conservative red flowing to one side and liberal blue to the other, while white cascades through the center into a field of stars. My hope is that when you see this painting, you will celebrate the beauty of a nation that embraces both debate and the open pursuit of happiness — a country strengthened not by uniformity, but by freedom itself.
May this season remind us with gratitude of those who served, those who gave their lives, and the remarkable spirit of liberty that continues to inspire us as we look toward America’s historic 250th anniversary. God bless the USA." - Simon Bull
