In "Die Another Day", James Bond takes the 2002 V12 Vanquish across the frozen Icelandic landscape surrounding Jökulsárlón, the spectacular Glacier Lagoon. The car was famously equipped with an array of Q-Branch technology, including adaptive camouflage that inspired the joke that the Vanquish could simply “vanish.” Against the vast blue-white landscape, the Aston becomes almost elemental: a dark shape of steel and speed carving its way through ice and snow.
