"This work is a visual meditation on the moment of choice. The background, a complex architecture of muted teals, dark charcoals, and layered textures, represents the 'noise' of deliberation — the confusion, the doubt, and the competing variables that cloud our judgment.
The introduction of the bold, pink signifies the 'breakthrough.' It is a deliberate, heavy intervention that overwrites the complexity beneath it. In life, a tough decision often feels like this.
By allowing the paint to drip, I acknowledge the consequences that follow any major choice. There is a sense of relief in the clarity of the pink, yet a lingering tension in how much of the original landscape it obscures. This piece captures the exact second where we stop weighing our options and finally choose to move forward, accepting the gravity of the path we’ve carved." - KURZ
