"As the first snow begins to fall in the hills, the meadows and woods slip into a new outfit—exchanging the ochres and reds of autumn for the chalky blues, teals, and golds of winter. There’s a hush to this moment, a gentle invitation to step into a world renewed. The sight of freshly fallen snow beckons us to enter this new landscape, leaving fresh tracks behind us and before us—and as for where they will lead, who can say?
This week I’m pleased to feature 'Reminds Me of Home I & II', a diptych of two 24" x 36" acrylics on canvas. These paired works capture that quiet transformation, the soft light on untouched snow, and the sense of possibility that comes when the season turns.
