"When I was a young man, I had the great privilege of being mentored by the renowned British watercolor artist William Heaton-Cooper. After long days spent painting the mountains and hills of England’s Lake District, I would often stop by his studio to show him my work. He would thoughtfully sort through each piece—rubbing his chin, stepping back, quietly reflecting—before offering insight.

On one occasion, pausing over a particular painting, he exclaimed, 'I love how this one looks, as it leads the eye and the imagination on into the infinite.'
